Add Tools from the TTS Handheld terminal doesn’t let me assign storage facility and location. How do I do this?

Question: How can I assign the storage facility and storage location of tools that are added with the “Add Tools” function on the mobile handheld terminal?

Answer: Tools added using the “Add Tools” function on the handheld terminal are assigned default storage facility and location. The default is ‘unassigned facility/unassigned location”.

The storage location and storage facility can be changed either by editing these fields from the Tool Information screen, OR, there is a “Change Storage Location” button on the Tool Find screen.

From the “Find Tool” screen grid, simply choose which tools you wish to adjust the storage location for (a single tool, or multiple tools can be selected) and select the “Change Storage Location” button. Enter/select the new Storage Facility/Location and make the re-assignment.
