In 1991, Process & Technology Solutions (now GigaTrak) released our first tool tracking software system to a mid-western nuclear power plant. WINventory was an immediate success at reducing tool losses and greatly improving tool management. Over the next decade numerous WINventory custom solutions were implemented at utilities and other companies around the US.

This January, GigaTrak released our latest tool system to a major electric/gas utility as an update to our original WINventory solution which we installed in 1998. Our new Tool Tracking System (TTS) draws upon nearly two decades of tool management experience while utilizing the latest software techniques to streamline user methods and improve ease-of-use. In just a few weeks TTS is already a hit and we have commitments from several new contractor organizations to either implement a new system or replace their existing competitor's system with TTS.
